Upload Attendance
"Upload Attendance" is a feature that allows administrators or HR personnel to upload attendance data in bulk.
Uploading Attendance Data:
Access ASAERP: Log in to your ASAERP account with the necessary permissions to upload attendance data.
Go to the Human Resources (HR) Module:
In the left sidebar, click on the "HR" module.
Click on "Upload Attendance":
In the HR module, you can find the "Upload Attendance" option.
Upload Attendance Data:
Follow the instructions to upload attendance data, such as attendance records in a CSV file.
To upload attendance data in ASAERP, you can use the built-in data import tools. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Prepare the Attendance Data
Before you start the upload process, ensure that your attendance data is organized in a spreadsheet (e.g., Excel or CSV) with the necessary columns. Common columns include:
Employee ID or Employee Name
Date
In Time
Out Time
Status (optional, indicating whether the attendance is 'Present', 'Absent', etc.)
Step 2: Access Data Import Tool
In ASAERP, go to the "Data" module.
Select "Data Import Tool" from the list.
Step 3: Choose Attendance Import Template
Click on "Choose File" to select the prepared attendance spreadsheet.
In the "Import File" section, choose "Attendance" as the DocType.
Click "Next."
Step 4: Map Columns
The system will attempt to automatically map columns from your spreadsheet to ASAERP fields. Verify that the mapping is correct.
Manually map any unmatched columns.
Click "Next."
Step 5: Validate Data
The system will perform a validation check. Review the validation report to ensure there are no errors.
Address any validation errors before proceeding.
Step 6: Import Data
Once validation is successful, click "Import Data."
Monitor the import progress.
Step 7: Review Imported Data
After the import is complete, review the attendance records in ASAERP to ensure accuracy.
Make any necessary adjustments manually if needed.
Additional Tips:
It's recommended to perform a test import with a small set of data first to ensure the process works as expected.
Ensure that the date format in your spreadsheet matches the date format expected by ASAERP.
If you are using employee IDs, make sure the IDs in your spreadsheet match the employee IDs in ASAERP.
For large datasets, consider breaking the data into smaller batches to prevent timeouts during the import process.
By following these steps, you should be able to upload attendance data into ASAERP efficiently. Always remember to back up your data before making significant imports or changes.
